Financial Peace

Dave Ramsey, the founder of Financial Peace University, regularly says, "If you will live like no one else, then later you get to live like no one else."  That does not mean your life goal should be to earn lots of money so you can buy whatever you want for the rest of your life.  Although there is nothing wrong with having money, the Bible tells us that the "love of money" (I Timothy 6:10) often leads to trouble.  Financial peace comes when you realize having stuff doesn't necessarily bring happiness.  True peace is found in a personal relationship with Christ and with that comes the responsibility of being a good steward of the money God has blessed us with.  The ultimate goal of the Financial Peace class is to teach you to take control of your money and not allow your money to control you.
